Common Questions
Do I need a license to rent the drone?
Yes. Drone rental requires a valid RCAA (Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority) pilot license. If you don't have one, choose our "Hire Us" service — we fly the drone for you with our licensed pilot.
Is the drone insured?
Yes. Our drone is fully insured for third-party liability as required by RCAA. For rentals, a security deposit of 100,000 RWF (or valid ID) is required to cover any potential damage.
How long does the battery last?
Each battery gives about 31 minutes of flight time. The Fly More Combo includes 3 batteries, giving you up to 90 minutes of total flight time.
What areas can the drone fly in Kigali?
Drones cannot fly within 10km of Kigali International Airport, over government/military buildings, or above crowds without RCAA clearance. We help you plan compliant flight zones for your shoot.
How do I get my footage?
For rentals, footage is saved on the drone's SD card and internal storage. For our filming services, we deliver via WeTransfer or SD card within 24-48 hours. Edited videos take 3-5 days.
